As part of the Contract Logistics team at Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in designing, managing, and optimizing solutions that keep goods moving efficiently. The Inventory Supervisor maintains accurate records of inventory. The Inventory Specialist handles all paperwork and procedures necessary to meet this goal. You will also verify all orders received and shipped, ensuring that the orders are accounted for in our records. The Inventory Supervisor accounts for all defective or damaged products and follows with appropriate corrective action. You will ensure cycle counts are planned and implemented following customer and Kuehne+Nagel requirements.
How you create impact
• You will create efficient and accurate inventory management procedures
• Perform all daily activities necessary to maintain inventory management
• Ensure Daily Cycle Counts are completed as expected and conclude any investigation as result from any discovered discrepancy
• Ensure all inventory adjustments are documented for future reference
• Provide training to Inventory Team members as needed
• Provide training to other Operations department as needed to ensure quality of work and inventory accuracy
• Reconcile inventory and coordinate annual physical inventory procedures
• Work with management on implementing loss prevention programs
• Build a recovery program
• You will oversee the inventory quality and accuracy including weekly and monthly reports
• Provide support to Operations as needed in other areas
• Serve as key point of contact for operations team when handling inventory discrepancies or investigating inventory levels
What we would like you to bring
  • High School Diploma
  • At least 2 years of experience working with Inventory management.
  • 1+ years of leadership or training experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • 1+ Year of WMS experience
