Position: Inventory Analyst             Location: Detroit, Michigan

Vacancy: This posting is for an existing vacancy

Overall Responsibility:
The primary purpose of the Inventory Analyst role is to review, enter and/or modify CMS data as appropriate. Ensure data is being entered accurately in CMS by authorized parties. Provide operations with the information and analytics needed to meet customer requirements while ensuring proper inventory levels are maintained and accounted for within CMS system.

Accountabilities:
• Providing meaningful analysis of complex data to support material strategies.
• Review, enter and/or modify CMS data to ensure accurate and compliant information is entered.
• Maintain accurate data in CMS in a time-sensitive manner.
• Establishing used serviceable material fill rate targets, analyzing real time data, identifying gaps and recommending corrective actions.
• Conducting analyses to support business cases, contracts and financial planning with respect to company material strategies.
• General receiving administrations-verify all ASN’s received by Shipper/Receiver, and address discrepancies, if any.
• Report production and compare coil yield versus scrap weight and blank yield.
• Summarizing reports on the output for all weight used during the month.
• Ensure ERP (CMS) system is accurate with data before every month-end.
• Daily reporting on ASN's for coils.
• Conduct manual production reporting of coils.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills, Requirements, and Personal Traits:
• High School Diploma - Associate's degree preferred
• 3+ years of experience working within a Manufacturing environment within Materials & Logistics
• Possess strong analytical skills
• Advanced knowledge in personal computers, standard corporate software, and applicable systems skills are required (Microsoft Office).
• Advanced communications and interpersonal skills are required.
• Advanced knowledge of inventory management practices
• Fulfill the Health and Safety responsibilities as identified in the Occupational Health and Safety Program.
• Other duties as assigned
