As a Logistics Analyst at RXO, you'll support transportation operations by serving as a primary point of contact for plant communication, operational coordination, and network performance. You'll collaborate with operations, carriers, and cross-functional teams to improve service reliability, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and strengthen operational execution across the transportation network.
What your day-to-day will look like:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned plant locations, providing proactive communication and operational support
  • Coordinate communication between operations, carriers, and plant stakeholders to resolve shipment disruptions and service issues
  • Monitor transportation performance, identifying trends related to delays, failures, dwell time, and network exceptions
  • Analyze operational data and develop reports, scorecards, and performance metrics to support business decisions and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Partner with operations teams to identify root causes of service failures and implement corrective actions that improve network performance
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with plant personnel, carriers, and internal stakeholders to improve communication and customer satisfaction
  • Support carrier performance by improving shipment visibility, communication, and execution throughout the transportation network
  • Participate in strategic projects including network enhancements, process improvements, and operational initiatives that improve service and reduce cost
  • Assist with developing communication standards, escalation processes, and best practices to improve operational consistency
  • Prepare presentations and executive summaries highlighting operational performance, risks, trends, and improvement opportunities

At a minimum, you'll need:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 1 year of experience in transportation or logistics

It'd be great if you also have:
  • Experience analyzing operational data and developing reports using Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools
  • Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships across multiple teams
  • Experience supporting manufacturing or plant operations
  • Experience working with Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
  • Experience creating dashboards or performance scorecards using Power BI or similar reporting tools
  • Experience driving continuous improvement or operational excellence initiatives
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced transportation environment
  • Knowledge of carrier operations, shipment visibility and transportation performance metrics
