Salary Range: $81,000 - $121,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Traverse City seeking Inventory Control Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to optimize stock levels and minimize carrying costs.
  • Oversee accurate inventory counts through cycle counting and physical inventories, ensuring data integrity.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify slow-moving or obsolete stock and recommend disposition strategies.
  • Collaborate with production and procurement to align inventory levels with manufacturing schedules and supply chain demands.
  • Manage and reconcile inventory discrepancies, investigating root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Implement and maintain an inventory management system (IMS) to track and report on all inventory movements.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
