Reporting within Emergency Management and overseeing Hospital Security operations, the Director Hospital Security will guide a highly trained team responsible for physical security, emergency preparedness, threat assessment, regulatory compliance, and disaster response planning. The Director Security and Emergency Preparedness will collaborate closely with nursing leadership, facilities, risk management, and executive teams to ensure a safe and resilient care environment. This leader will oversee policy development, staff training, drills, and coordination with local public safety agencies while mentoring a diverse team of security professionals dedicated to compassionate service. Friendly nurses, engaged physicians, and allied health professionals partner closely with the Security Director to maintain a secure, welcoming atmosphere for patients, visitors, and staff.
