Genesis10 is currently seeking a Data Analyst - Remote position with a Major Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity. This role supports business decision-making by collecting, organizing, and analyzing data using accessible tools and methods. The ideal candidate will focus on deriving insights from reports and dashboards, without requiring deep coding or technical expertise, to help guide business strategy. Responsibilities: Gather and organize data from internal systems, spreadsheets, and reports Analyze trends, patterns, and business performance Prepare visualizations, charts, and summary reports for stakeholders Collaborate with business units to define reporting needs and ensure data accuracy Support ad hoc data requests and routine reporting Maintain documentation and ensure consistency across reporting processes Requirements: 5-7 years of experience in a data analysis or similar role Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and formulas Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret data in a business context Effective communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams Basic understanding of data governance and privacy principles Pay range: Up to $48.81per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
