Career Opportunity

CenTrio is seeking a dynamic, results-oriented General Manager to lead our Houston operations and provide management oversight for our Denver NWC responsibilities.

This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for an experienced business and operations leader who can balance operational excellence, financial performance, customer relationships, employee leadership, and strategic growth. The General Manager will serve as the senior market leader for Houston while partnering closely with corporate leadership and cross-functional teams across operations, engineering, commercial, finance, HR, safety, and business development.

The successful candidate will bring an owner's mindset, take initiative, identify opportunities, drive solutions, and deliver results. This leader will build trusted relationships with employees, customers, executives, and other key stakeholders while maintaining a strong focus on accountability, safety, reliability, customer satisfaction, and business performance.

Key Areas of Responsibility - The General Manager will:

  • Lead the overall operational and financial performance of the Houston market.
  • Provide oversight and accountability for assigned Denver NWC responsibilities.
  • Maintain responsibility for P&L performance, budgets, forecasting, controllable costs, EBITDA, and capital planning.
  • Lead and develop the Houston operations team, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, engagement, and high performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and serve as a senior point of contact for customer needs, service issues, contract performance, and problem resolution.
  • Develop and execute short- and long-term business and operating plans.
  • Partner with Business Development and corporate leadership to identify and support growth opportunities, proposals, pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and customer relationships.
  • Drive operational excellence, reliability, efficiency, continuous improvement, and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives and effectively influence stakeholders across the organization.
  • Communicate operational, financial, and strategic performance to senior leadership.
  • Develop talent, strengthen leadership capabilities, and support succession planning within the organization.

  • Demonstrated success managing a full P&L and achieving financial targets.
  • Experience leading customer-facing business operations and managing executive-level customer relationships.
  • Strong operational and commercial business acumen.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to influence and engage senior executives and C-suite stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, solve complex business challenges, and drive organizational change.
  • Track record of building high-performing teams and delivering measurable business results.
