Job description

General Manager — Rooster Ridge Car Care (Houston, TX)

Full-time | On-site | $60,000–$75,000 base + performance bonus

Lead a business, not just a shop.

Rooster Ridge Car Care is part of SRS & Co., a growing multi-location automotive group that's investing in its people and its technology — including AI-powered tools most independent shops have never seen. We're hiring a General Manager to own one of our Houston locations, and we're doing it differently:

We don't require automotive experience. We require leadership.

If you've built and led winning teams in retail, restaurants, hospitality, banking, or the military — and you're ready to run a business with real autonomy and a clear growth path — we want to talk to you. We'll teach you the car business. You bring the energy, the accountability, and the ability to make people better.

What You'll Own
  • The full performance of the shop: team, customer experience, and P&L
  • Coaching and developing service advisors and technicians into a high-performing team
  • Sales growth, customer retention, and our reputation in the community
  • Daily operations — scheduling, workflow, quality, and safety
  • A direct line to company leadership, with weekly metrics and a voice in how we grow
Who Thrives Here
  • High-energy leaders who set the tone for an entire building every single day
  • Natural coaches — you develop people and hold them accountable without losing them
  • Owners at heart: you treat the business like it's yours, because here, it functionally is
  • Strong customer-first instincts; you build trust fast and handle hard conversations with confidence
  • Hungry to learn — the automotive industry is learnable; great leadership is rare

Automotive or multi-unit experience is a plus, not a prerequisite. Experience with shop management systems (Tekmetric or similar) is a bonus.

What We Offer
  • $60,000–$75,000 base salary, depending on experience
  • Performance bonus program (we'll walk through the details in the interview process)
  • Health insurance and paid time off
  • Paid training and a genuine advancement path — we're a growing group, and we promote from within
  • Employee discounts on vehicle service
The Details
  • Location: Houston, TX (on-site)
  • Shop hours: Monday–Saturday, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM; full-time schedule within operating hours, Saturday availability required

If you've been waiting for a leadership role where your results actually determine your trajectory — this is it. Apply or message us directly.

  • Rooster Ridge Car Care / SRSandCo. is an equal opportunity employer.
