What are Contract Furniture Designers?

Unlike residential furniture designers, they focus on durability, functionality, and compliance with industry standards to meet the needs of high-traffic environments. They must balance aesthetics with practicality, ensuring the furniture is both visually appealing and suitable for heavy, frequent use.

To thrive as a Contract Furniture Designer, you need a strong background in interior design, spatial planning, and furniture design, often supported by a bachelor's degree in design or a related field.
