Job description

Location: Local partner schools
Schedule: 1–4 hours per week (after school)
Program Length: Typically 10 weeks
Start Dates: Programs launch throughout the school year
Compensation: $50+ per instructional hour, flexible based on assignment and instructor experience

Teach engaging enrichment classes that help students explore new interests and build real skills.
Concorde Education partners with schools to provide high-quality after-school programs led by passionate instructors. In this role, you will lead structured, hands-on sessions that encourage creativity, communication, and confidence through improvisational theater activities.

Lead fun, interactive improv and theater games for students in a flexible, part-time role. Classes typically meet once per week for about one hour, though some instructors choose to teach multiple programs per week depending on their availability.

Concorde Education is hiring engaging instructors to lead enrichment classes that help students develop creativity, collaboration, storytelling skills, and confidence performing in front of others.

Instructors lead structured enrichment lessons using weekly plans while adapting activities to the needs and interests of the students.

Possible Class Topics

Assignments vary by school and may include:

  • Improvisational theater games and performance exercises
  • “Yes, and” collaboration and scene-building activities
  • Character development and storytelling basics
  • Voice, movement, and stage presence exercises
  • Creative expression and ensemble-building activities
  • Short-form improv games and group performances

Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Minimum 60 college credits completed
  • Experience with improv, theater, acting, or performing arts
  • Experience working with youth (schools, camps, theater programs, or after-school settings)
  • Strong communication and group facilitation skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional
