ARMStaffing is seeking experienced and highly skilled Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Stepdown Registered Nurses (RNs) for nationwide travel and local assignments. If you're ready to deliver intermediate-level critical care and support patients in transition from ICU to med-surg, we’re ready to place you where you’re needed most.

Job Description:
As a PCU/Stepdown RN, you'll care for patients who are critically ill but stable enough to leave the ICU. You’ll monitor telemetry, administer complex medications, and respond quickly to changes in patient condition—all while playing a key role in patient recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and assess patients with high acuity needs
  • Interpret and respond to cardiac telemetry and vital signs
  • Administer medications, manage IV drips, and maintain care plans
  • Collaborate with physicians and care teams to ensure safe, effective treatment
  • Document interventions and patient progress accurately and promptly

Requirements:

  • Active RN license (Compact license preferred)
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum 1–2 years of recent PCU, Stepdown, or Telemetry experience
  • Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation and critical thinking skills
  • Experience with ventilator and drip management preferred
