JOB OVERVIEW

Provide services and support as a Environmental Remediation Services (ERS) (Environmental Engineer) in the Environmental Management Industry Sector focusing on Environmental Services Solutions for clients such as Department of Defense (DoD - USACE) | U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Northwestern Division, Omaha District (USACE NWO) Area of Responsibility (AOR) Generally Located In CONUS - Ten (10) States: Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming and across the Mid West Region.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - Environmental Engineer | Environmental Management [USACE015020]

Develop and implement environmental solutions; ensure regulatory compliance; oversee remediation projects. The Engineer (s) is responsible for assuring that all engineering support goals specified in the Task Order are attained.

Qualifications

Desired Qualifications For Environmental Engineer | Environmental Management [USACE015020] (USACE015020) Candidates:

Knowledge of environmental engineering principles; experience with regulatory compliance.  The Engineer(s) should also have three (3) years' experience related to the investigation, design, and construction of geotechnical features, with a minimum of one (1) year of experience being related to remedial investigations, feasibility studies, and design and construction of geotechnical features in Environmental Remediation Services (ERS) Services Site sand/or process engineering at Environmental Remediation Services (ERS) Services Facilities or sites.

Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications

5+ years in environmental engineering; experience with remediation projects. | Bachelor's in Environmental Engineering. The Engineer shall have a college degree in engineering (soil mechanics, materials, or related specialty), geological engineering, or related field.  The Engineer(s) should have demonstrable education and experience in geotechnical engineering.

Skills Required

Skills Required: Environmental impact assessment, project management, technical writing, problem-solving. | Professional Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license recommended.

Competencies Required

Excellent oral and written communication skills (This employer participates in the e-Verify program).  Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe)

Ancillary Details Of The Roles

Permits/Licenses:  Team ProSidian shall obtain permits and licenses necessary to conduct the work required by this contract, including, but not limited to, environmental permits, building permits, discharge permits, Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) or state licenses for radiation activities, and Department of Transportation (DOT) permits for transport of Munitions and Explosives of Concern (MEC) and Hazardous, Toxic and Radioactive Waste (HTRW) on public highways. Team ProSidian shall comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, including Technical Bulletin TB 700-2, "Department Of Defense Ammunition And Explosives Hazard Classification Procedures," when transporting MEC.  Rights of entry on and off Government property may be required.
