Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Civil/Environmental Engineer to join our team! The successful candidate will support engineering assessments and other related activities for a variety of remedial design and construction projects ranging from the initial investigation phases through the final stages of remedial implementation and long-term management, collaborating with different project teams within our Environmental Practice group.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Completes a variety of assignments such as preparing technical reports, design drawings, technical specifications for procurement and construction, technical presentations, leading meetings, and developing work products for client and regulatory agency reviews.
  • Ability to collaborate and cross-sell within Parsons' other engineering groups
  • Reviews contract submittals and performs technical bid analyses.
  • Prepares engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and surveys.
  • Provides technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and junior-level Engineers working on the same project.
  • Works with project managers, project engineers, and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and plans for the various elements of a project. Ensures that the project meets or exceeds goals established in these plans.
  • Technical support to Project teams including regulatory/permitting/compliance.
  • Provide technical support and leadership/mentorship to junior staff.
  • May act in an advisory capacity to senior management personnel on engineering related matters.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 3+ years of related work experience is required.
  • Exceptional written and oral communications skills.
  • Strong independent work ethic, flexibility to adapt to rapidly shifting client priorities, and agility/eagerness to lead challenging and unique projects and assignments.
  • Practical experience with Insitu Chemical Oxidations (ISCO), air sparge/soil vapor extraction, and other insitu treatment technologies
  • Thorough understanding of all environmental rules and regulations

Salary Range: $63,600.00 - $111,300.00
