Job description

Position Summary: Manages and provides technical support and oversight for a variety of environmental projects, specializing in environmental engineering and regulatory compliance. Position Responsibilities: Manage environmental compliance projects for clients with multiple environmental requirements, in particular those affecting oil and gas facilities, including:
~ Clean Air Act MACT Standards
~ 40 CFR Part 63, Subpart JJJJJJ Boiler MACT Standards
~ 40 CFR Part 60, Subpart OOOO NSPS for Oil and Gas Regulatory Compliance
~ 40 CFR Part 63, Subpart ZZZZ (RICE MACT Standard) Regulatory Compliance
~40 CFR Part 60, Subpart JJJJ Standards of Performance for Stationary Spark Ignition Internal Combustion Engines
Maintain strong knowledge of environmental regulations, in particular those affecting oil and gas facilities Awareness and sustained knowledge of occupational safety and health rules and regulations Conduct environmental compliance audits and assessments Conduct sampling, review and prepare documentation (Chain of Custody forms, shipping forms, etc.) Ensure quality of sampling and laboratory data Conduct training for a variety of environmental topics Develop knowledge of client facilities and operations Provide customer service to a variety of client representatives and local, state, and federal agencies Perform project management related tasks, such as planning, budgeting, and invoicing Write reports, letters, and other project documents Participate in preparing proposals Contact and contract with various subcontractors Maintain/sustain working relationship and be liaison with federal, state, and local regulatory agency personnel Assist with other environmental, health, and safety projects Supervise 1-4 technicians on projects, as needed Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Education and Experience - Bachelor's degree in chemical or environmental engineering, or related field; AND experience in environmental engineering/regulatory compliance Knowledge - Strong knowledge of engineering principles
Strong knowledge of state and federal environmental regulations
Strong chemistry and analytical knowledge Interpersonal Skills - Excellent customer service skills
Ability to work in a team Organizational Skills - Excellent organizational skills
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
