Title: Windows Admin with E911 Testing experience

Location - San Ramon, CA

Duration: Contract

Job Description:

The requirement is to test E911 application that runs on Window desktop or on Windows server.

  • This is the highest priority skill requirement, where they are looking for a tester who can test complex and critical application that runs on Windows
  • Should be able to test and troubleshoot installation and uninstallation of Windows application.
  • This would call for registry management knowledge.
  • All positive and destructive testing during installation and uninstallation. System status after uninstallation
  • Should be able to make/change various windows configurations, memory management, task management, control panel etc
  • As this is E911 application, I would expect that it has telephony features integrated to it. So should be able to test relevant areas.
  • This skill dominates up to 85% of this position.
  • Good if the candidate has Windows admin experience in his/her career.
