How You'll Make an Impact as a Manpower Business Development Manager: 
The primary purpose of the Business Development Manager (BDM) is to spearhead the acquisition and management of high-value deals, oversee multi-location transactions, and expand the company's footprint across larger territories. This role is pivotal in identifying and securing strategic business opportunities, fostering long-term partnerships, and driving revenue growth. The BDM will leverage expertise in market analysis, relationship building, and negotiation to achieve the company's ambitious sales targets and contribute to its overall success.

Making Impact: 
    Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and business opportunities within the Manpower brand portfolio (HC, Engineering, Perm, Skilled Tech, Onsite solutions, light industrial etc.)
    Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their staffing needs and provide tailored solutions providing education of all services within ManpowerGroup offerings.
    Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategic decisions on a solution sales model.
    Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients, ability to negotiate and close high-value deals with various levels of clients (production managers to C-Suite)
    Adopt Manpower methodologies, disciplines and tools in pursuing profitable business opportunities, partnering with brand managers and leadership to craft improvements to processes. 
    Collaborate with delivery leaders to plan and allocate resources effectively to meet client needs.
    Establish a feedback loop with delivery teams to continuously improve service offerings based on client feedback and market demands.
    Infiltrate market bringing brand awareness, attending local networking events and job fairs. 
    Exceed sales quotas and revenue targets through strategic sales approaches and proficient client management, with a clear understanding of priorities.

Your Typical Day and Other Key Details    
    Remote/ Hybrid
    Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status.
    Prepare and present sales proposals and negotiate contract agreements with potential clients
    Conduct outbound cold calls to potential clients, effectively presenting and selling products/services to meet or exceed sales targets.
    Conduct weekly reviews of industry trends and competitor activities 
    Attend internal meetings to discuss strategy, progress, and goals.
    Work closely with the recruitment team to ensure client needs are met with fulfilled orders, constant communication, and properly escalated feedback. 
    Follow up existing clients to ensure satisfaction and explore additional business opportunities. 
    Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to build relationships and stay updated on industry trends.
 

What you'll bring with you
AKA candidate requirements:
    Sales Experience: 2 years selling in a solution-based role, proven performance in a competitive high-volume sale, with successful achievement of ambitious goals
    Technical: Digital Literacy: desktop (e.g., MS Word and Outlook) and social (e.g., Twitter, LinkedIn) applications
    Education: High school diploma or GED
