Job description

Job Title: iOS Developer
Location: Onsite – Chicago, IL
Type: Contract (W2/C2C – Long Term)
 

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled iOS Developer to join our team onsite in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have experience building scalable and high-performance iOS applications using Swift and Objective-C, and will be passionate about creating seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
  • Work with outside APIs and data sources (REST, JSON)
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
  • Maintain code quality and organization through proper design patterns and best practices
  • Participate in agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and code reviews

Required Skills:

  • 9-12 Years of total experience.
  • 5-8+ years of iOS development experience
  • Proficient in Swift and Objective-C
  • Solid understanding of the iOS SDK, UIKit, CoreData, and AutoLayout
  • Experience with MVVM architecture, Combine or RxSwift
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and 3rd party SDKs
  • Good working knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Experience with unit/UI testing frameworks (XCTest, XCUITest)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SwiftUI and Combine
  • Experience in finance, e-commerce, or healthcare industries
  • Familiarity with App Store deployment and app signing processes
