Job Summary:
AA2IT is looking for a Desktop Support Technician for a 3 month contract-to-hire opportunity in Baton Rouge, LA to provide high-level desktop and IT support. The role involves delivering exceptional customer service and managing troubleshooting and resolution of IT equipment issues.
Responsibilities:
• Paid Training.
• Provide exceptional, daily, On-Site Customer Service interaction with high profile client executives.
• Provide excellent time management and reporting skills
• Be familiar with various operating systems (e.g. - Windows OS, OSX, Linux/Unix)
• Manage triage, troubleshooting and resolution to client scope on IT equipment
• Occasionally works at heights of 20' to 25', lift equipment training provided
• Document efforts, issues and resolutions, close cases/tickets daily
• Insight to PC, Printers, Thin Clients, AP's, Servers, Network switch equipment, MFDs, Tablets
Qualifications:
Required:
• This role requires a minimum of 2+ years of IT support and field hardware break-fix experience.
• A+ Certification or willing to obtain A+ certification within 90 days.
• OEM Certifications (Dell/Lenovo Etc.)
• Apple/Mac Experience
• Imaging from Network and USB
• Laptop/Desktop/Printer hardware and software support experience
• ServiceNOW experience
