Job description

Plexos Group LLC is currently seeking an experienced IT Support Tech & Asset Specialist for our Baton Rouge office.

This position will provide the organization with information technology support to optimize operational efficiencies as well as manage assets.

Responsibilities:

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Resolve IT support requests from employees via a ticketing system.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Ability to solve level 1 & 2 IT technical issues.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Answering employee questions regarding computer systems

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Gather and analyze data to diagnose problems with computer systems.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Change configurations, settings, and permissions to fix computer issues.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Install and configure hardware and software components.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Image/configure laptops for distribution to employees.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Repair and replace damaged computer hardware.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Track asset utilization and ensure assets not in use are recovered, inventoried, relocated, or disposed of in accordance with company policies and procedures.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Manage the movement of equipment between locations including generating shipping labels and researching shipments as needed.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Conduct inventory and provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly asset reports.

Qualifications:

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or similar.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  1-3 years of experience as an IT Support specialist and/or Desktop Tech Support

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Proficiency in helpdesk software

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Asset management experience


Working conditions/physical demands:

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  This position will be based in our Baton Rouge, LA office environment.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  You will be required to work in the office 5 days a week.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Some work may require before/after hours work to meet project deliverables.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  This position may require lifting boxes and hardware up to 45 lbs.
