Although Neglia is a family-owned mid-size firm, we take pride in offering our clients state-of-the-art services, while providing employees opportunities to expand their technical expertise, develop project management skills, and contribute to exciting projects from the initial concept stages through construction closeout.

  • Conduct site visits and field surveys to gather data, take measurements, capture photographs/videos, and document site conditions
  • Attend client meetings, municipal meetings, and participate in project coordination with architects, attorneys, contractors, and other consultants
  • Prepare engineering reports to support various design elements of projects, including stormwater/hydrologic calculations
  • Perform quantity takeoffs/zoning analyses and prepare construction cost estimates, bond estimates, and other supporting technical documentation
  • Prepare contract specifications for public bidding in accordance with the NJ Local Public Contracts Law
  • Collaborate and communicate regularly with project managers and other team members to ensure project objectives, budgets, and deadlines are met
  • Prepare NJDOT, NJDEP, Open Space, CDBG, and other grant funding applications to support public infrastructure projects
  • Provide support during construction, including responding to RFIs, submittal reviews, and field inspections
  • Attend municipal council, board, and any other relevant evening meetings, as required

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality work and exceptional client service
