In your role as a Senior Contract Analyst at Medtronic, you will embrace a diverse range of duties and opportunities each day. This role will focus on delivering seamless end-to-end contract lifecycle management, ensuring the accurate and timely administration of contracts in alignment with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
You will work in close partnership with internal stakeholders such as sales leadership, offer development, legal partners, and downstream operations partners to uphold the highest standards of contract integrity and performance.
You will be tasked to provide guidance and support to business partners, driving compliance and minimizing risk as well as bringing visibility to contractual performance. Your role is pivotal to enable informed decision-making leading to optimal contract outcomes.
As part of the U.S. Pricing and Contracting team, you will play a crucial role ensuring seamless contract construction, execution, and downstream performance management. This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and has a passion for driving business success.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • End-to-End Contract Lifecycle Management: Oversees the full lifecycle of customer agreements from initial creation and negotiation through execution, compliance monitoring, and renewal. Ensures contract activities align with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
  • Contract Drafting, Redlining, and Administration: Develops, drafts, and redlines complex terms and conditions to ensure clarity, compliance, and alignment with business strategies. Manages contract execution and ongoing administration to maintain accuracy and data integrity.
  • Proposal Development, Negotiation, and Customer Engagement: Leads proposal preparation and supports negotiations to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes with customers. Acts as a key liaison to ensure customer requirements are understood, documented, and fulfilled within contractual frameworks.
  • Bid Preparation, Reporting, and Data Management: Prepares bids and processes contract specifications, progress updates, and related documentation. Compiles and analyzes historical and current data to advise management on contractual obligations, performance trends, and decision-making.
  • Legal Partnership and Standards Governance: Collaborates closely with Legal partners to ensure all agreements adhere to corporate standards, approved templates, and regulatory requirements. Supports continuous improvement of contract language quality and consistency.
  • Supporting Contract Compliance and Performance: Monitors contract compliance, identifies risks, and provides clear reporting to management and senior leaders. Utilizes contract performance metrics to support data-driven decision-making and recommends enhancements to metric dashboards and reporting capabilities.
  • Technology and Process Enablement: Evaluates contracts and processes to identify and implement simplification and harmonization while influencing stakeholders toward unified standards. Contributes as a subject matter expert to guide technology initiatives to ensure efficient and effective processes, digital/AI tools, and operational scalability.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 6+ years of relevant experience in Contracts or Pricing or equivalent experience (OR Associate's Degree with 4+ years experience OR Baccalaureate Degree with 2+ years experience).

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Math, or a related field
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment with high attention to detail; works independently and takes full ownership of projects from start to finish.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, relationshipbuilding, and interpersonal skills, with experience collaborating across crossfunctional teams and negotiating complex contracts or pricing agreements.
  • Experience in sales, marketing, purchasing, medical device, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or related industries, including familiarity with contract lifecycle management systems (e.g., Conga, Icertis).

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$84,000.00 - $126,000.00This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
