Job description

Immediate need for a talented Project Manager Analyst with Utilities Domain. This is a 12+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Newark, DE(Hybrid). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $43/hr - $45/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Position Type: Hybrid (In office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays are REQUIRED. Some travel (1-2/month) team meetings, site visits within service territory)
  • A Junior Business Analyst typically assists in analyzing and documenting business processes and requirements for projects within an organization.
  • Support on a variety of project analytical activities, contract administration including supporting development of RFP's for distribution programs, creation contract requisitions, contract payment authorizations, invoice review and approval, accruals, and overall contract tracking responsibilities.
  • Responsible for managing a large amount of program level data that is tracked through a variety of programs including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft SharePoint, and Microsoft Power BI.
  • Assisting in gathering and documenting business requirements from stakeholders.
  • Analyzing and documenting current business processes and workflows.
  • Assisting in the development of functional and technical specifications.
  • Participating in meetings and workshops to gather requirements and provide updates on project progress.
  • Assisting in the identification and documentation of project risks and issues.
  • Supporting the development and testing of new systems or enhancements.
  • Assisting in the preparation of training materials and user documentation.
  • Providing support to users during system implementation and post-implementation.
  • A Junior Business Analyst should have strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • They should be detail-oriented and able to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • Problem Solving Skills, Time Management, Communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (especially Excel Excel assessments highly desired for consideration testing for V-lookups, pivot tables, and equations).
  • Some knowledge of utility construction is definite plus Detail Oriented, Organized, Timely, Effective Communicator Dependable.
  • Minimum 1-5 years of experience.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
