Job Title : IT Healthcare Consultant-Business Analyst

Location: Columbia SC Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote).

Duration: Long term

Job Type : Contract (We can consider - W2)

Responsibilities:

Required skills (rank in order of importance):

  • 1 years of business analysis experience IBM Cram software
  • 1 years experience in government IT projects as a business analyst or related duties
  • 1years experience eliciting, mining, and documenting business rules, processes
  • 2 years Medicaid Eligibility or other healthcare insurance experience

Preferred Skills (rank in order of

Importance):

  • General Subject Matter Expertise as it relates to Medicaid or other healthcare insurance experience (project or operations)
  • MMS experience (project or operations) Microsoft Office Project/Project Server

Required Education:

  • Bachelor s degree in a technical, business, or healthcare field.

additional skills & duties:

  • Superb written and oral communications skills, including the ability to write requirements and Use Cases. Very Strong proficiency in English is required.
  • Experience and ability to obtain business processes and requirements information by interviewing business personnel and by mining laws, regulations, and policy documents.
  • Knowledge of formal business process documentation.
  • Understanding of business modeling techniques, including the use of graphical process flow software
  • Ability to effectively communicate to executive management, line management, project management,

and team members.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Business & IT Liaison: Bridge business programs and IT teams to define effective technical and non-technical solutions.
  • Requirements Analysis: Lead requirements elicitation, analysis, specification, validation, and documentation with multiple stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze as-is/to-be business processes, identify gaps, and recommend automation and process improvements.
  • Functional & Data Analysis: Translate business needs into functional specifications, document data requirements/relationships, and manage requirements traceability and changes.
  • Stakeholder & Risk Management: Collaborate with vendors, government agencies, providers, beneficiaries, and technical/test teams while proactively identifying risks, issues, and solutions.
