Job description

JOB TITLE: RF Electronics Technician - 2nd Shift
LOCATION: Oldsmar, FL
PAY RATE: $62-30/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

  • Schedule: Monday – Thursday: 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM

  • Overtime: Available on weekends

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Set up test apparatus and conduct tests on electronic circuit card assemblies and subassemblies

  • Perform component-level troubleshooting on analog, digital, and RF circuits

  • Use schematic diagrams to isolate and resolve failures

  • Adjust, calibrate, and maintain electronic test systems

  • Repair malfunctions by replacing or adjusting components

  • Analyze test results to evaluate product performance

  • Assist engineers with developing test procedures and recommending product improvements

  • Ensure quality compliance using statistical process controls

  • Document maintenance and test activities using Microsoft tools and data systems

  • Use test equipment such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, signal generators, frequency standards, and RF power meters

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required

  • Technical training or Associate degree (or equivalent hands-on experience) preferred

  • 1+ year of experience testing electronic assemblies

  • Strong component-level troubleshooting skills (solid state, digital, and RF circuits)

  • Experience with flying probe or high-power testing

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data collection tools

  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extensive RF testing experience

  • Familiarity with radar systems

  • Military “backshop” experience (repair and troubleshooting)
