Project Manager – Commercial Construction

Location: Reading, PA

An established and growing construction management and general contracting firm is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee projects from preconstruction through closeout across the Reading, PA region.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team delivering a diverse portfolio of projects including manufacturing and distribution facilities, healthcare, semiconductor, multifamily, office interiors, tenant fit-outs, and commercial developments. The company provides full-service construction management, design-build, preconstruction, procurement, and project consulting services while maintaining a strong commitment to quality, communication, and client satisfaction.

What You'll Do
  • Manage projects from award through final completion.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
  • Review contracts, drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
  • Lead procurement and subcontractor buyout.
  • Monitor project costs, forecasting, and financial performance.
  • Conduct owner, architect, and subcontractor meetings.
  • Ensure projects remain on schedule, within budget, and meet quality expectations.
  • Collaborate closely with Superintendents to resolve field challenges.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience with a commercial general contractor or construction manager.
  • Experience managing ground-up and interior renovation projects.
  • Background in manufacturing, healthcare, commercial, office, industrial, multifamily, or tenant improvement projects preferred.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and contract administration.
  • Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management software.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
