Job Description

  • Adult men's correctional facility in Lancaster, California with moderate acuity patients including substance disorders and justice involvement.

Details

  • Needs are ASAP
  • Full-time in-person Mon-Thurs 7a-5p for at least six months.
  • No Call
  • Flexible time for patient visits
  • Client does use CERNER E.H.R. so familiarity with that will be needed
  • Up to three weeks of orientation may be required Mon-Fri
  • BC/BE in psychiatry is required
  • At least 12 months experience in adult psychiatry in the last 3 years
  • Active CA medical license is required
  • Active DEA in CA is required
  • BLS certification is required
  • Medical malpractice insurance is required
  • For this forensic facility
  • The patients are forensic patients.
  • According to the contract the name of the state facility may not be advertised.
  • A criminal background check is required
  • Drug test is required
  • A CALPERS affidavit will be required
  • Current state employees are not eligible.
