Summary: The Marketing and Community Engagement Coordinator is responsible for the development and implementation of comprehensive marketing and communication strategies aimed at enhancing organizational awareness, promoting services, and effectively engaging with the target audience.

· Develop and implement marketing practices and procedures to ensure consistency and effectiveness across all marketing efforts.
· Create specific advertising and public relations plans tailored to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
· Plan and oversee marketing-related projects, ensuring timely execution and alignment with overall marketing strategies.
· Analyze data and estimate demand for services to identify potential markets and develop targeted marketing plans.
· Develop and maintain the organization's brand identity, ensuring alignment with organizational values and goals.
· Coordination of marketing-related projects, including, but not limited to community health fairs, county fairs, and parades, ensuring they are executed promptly and aligned with overall marketing strategies.
· Devise brand strategies to strengthen brand positioning and differentiation in the market.
· Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support their marketing needs and provide guidance on marketing best practices.
· Support the establishment and maintenance of partnerships with businesses, schools, health organizations, and local non-profits. Actively engage external and internal partners to foster collaboration.
· Create and maintain a comprehensive Community Partner Database to streamline partnership management and outreach efforts.
· Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to continually enhance marketing strategies and tactics.
· Act as the person who handles crisis management, ensuring effective communication strategies and responses during challenging situations.
· Work with department managers and directors to promote service lines and ensure alignment of marketing efforts with organizational objectives.
· Coordinate media relations, including scheduling interviews, press releases, and other media interactions.
· Produce a bi-weekly radio show, scheduling hospital leadership and medical providers as guests to discuss relevant healthcare topics and promote organizational initiatives.
· Regularly update and maintain the organization's website to ensure accurate and up-to-date information. Coordinate with relevant departments to publish new content, announcements, and events.
· Promote the use of patient portals among the community and existing patients. Develop strategies to increase portal adoption and engagement, including creating educational materials and hosting informational sessions. Collaborate with IT and healthcare teams to address any concerns and improve portal functionality.
· Coordinates the development of contracts, marketing initiatives, and outreach efforts for the Industrial Wellness Program.
· Serve as an internal goodwill ambassador, organizing and facilitating monthly employee appreciation events at the hospital and clinics. Ensure that all shifts are taken care of and that events are inclusive and enjoyable for all staff members.
· With the help of the C-suite, implement a comprehensive community engagement strategy aligned with the organization's mission, vision, and goals for outreach, engagement, and community partnerships.
· Identify and leverage opportunities to increase community visibility and involvement.
· Organize and oversee community events, workshops, and initiatives that engage diverse audiences.
· Coordinate logistics for community activities, including securing venues, permits, and vendors.
· Attend community meetings, forums, and events to stay informed about local issues and opportunities.
· Identify emerging trends and challenges within the community that may impact the organization’s work.
· Act as a liaison for government relations between the hospital and clinics and the community, including federal, state, and local officials, to increase awareness of the needs of the hospital and clinics.
· Meet bi-weekly with Manager to review and update Manager on community engagement efforts.
· Provide daily/weekly log of approved offsite projects/meetings to Manager.
· All offsite events attended by employee must be pre-approved by Manager.
· Maintain Google Business Profiles for each location and medical provider within the organization. Ensure that all information, such as address, contact details, hours of operation, and services offered, is accurate and up-to-date. Regularly monitor and respond to reviews and inquiries to maintain a positive online reputation. Implement strategies to optimize profiles for search engine visibility and local search rankings.
