Job description

Job Brief Quality Control Inspector Position Title: Quality Control Inspector / Production Control Clerk Location: Fort Rucker, AL Position Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt Summary: Perform QA inspections and Audits under the direction of the Site Manager. Follow company and department policies and procedures. Qualifications: A minimum of 2 years' experience in quality inspections.

Demonstrate decision-making ability, negotiation skills and proven leadership competencies. Possess excellent interpersonal communication skills (written, oral, listening, and presentation). Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent work experience.

Purpose of Classification: Plan, implement, and coordinate quality control program in accordance with the Fort Rucker PWS. Principal Responsibilities: • Manage the overall quality control program operation in accordance with the Contract Performance Work Statement and Company policies and procedures • Establishing and maintaining effective control plans and procedures for resource utilization, scheduling, cost reporting and control of program tasks • Ensures that contract requirements are met on time • Conducts and approves corrective actions associated with the Quality Inspection Program. • Maintaining inspection records and documentation associated with the Quality Control Program • Developing and implementing the Quality Control program • Provides for the prevention of quality discrepancies and ensures timely corrective action to preclude deficiencies • Analyzes trend data to identify problems • Maintains inspection records and documentation associated with the Quality Control Program • Evaluates supervisory performances to ensure execution of safe practices • Performs analysis of inspection data, accident reports and hazard reports • Prepares required management reports pertaining to safety • Conducts employee initial safety training and monitors recurring training • Assists the manager / supervisor in resolving conditions where operations can continue in a safe manner • Conducts follow-up actions on reported hazardous conditions to ensure the condition is corrected in a timely manner • Provides functional expertise for resolving differences of opinion and conflicting practices • Conducts periodic site surveys for potential health hazards in response to the nature and type of activities conducted Collateral Duties: • Assisting with answering phones and dispatching service technicians to jobs • Assistance with receiving work requests from occupants via telephone and email • Assistance with generating work orders, compilation and recording of data for reports • Assistance with verification and annotation of material costs on work orders Special Knowledge / Skills Required: • Familiar with the Department of Defense (DoD) particularly, as applicable to range maintenance or similar environment • Must be able to multi-task regularly and work with minimal supervision and guidance • Must demonstrate exceptional attention to detail • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment • Have working knowledge of Microsoft Office • Must have a valid driver's license • Ability to use good judgment and common sense when performing job functions • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions • Ability to be punctual, and possess patience to work under stressful conditions • Ability to identify areas requiring immediate attention and the use of practical skill to solve problems • Must be available to work variable shifts including weekends C.
