Position Overview
Location: Barrett/Evansville, MN
Setting: 75% SNF/LTC; 25% HH
Guaranteed Hours: 32-40-hour weekly guarantee
Schedule: Monday-Friday, Flexible Days (No weekends, holidays, or call)
Qualifications:
• Graduate of an approved school of Occupational Therapy, with a minimum of a bachelor's degree
• Valid state OT licensure (or currently in an OT educational program)
• CPR certification
• Valid driver's license
• Must successfully pass a background check upon hire
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• New grads encouraged to apply!
Responsibilities:
• Providing supervision for Occupational Therapy Assistants and/or Therapy Aides as per state and federal laws and/or regulations
• Evaluate patients, review medical history, and identify functional and movement-related impairments.
• Develop and modify individualized treatment plans
• Teach therapeutic exercises and provide hands-on techniques to support healing
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient progress records
• Educate patients and families on home programs and recovery expectations
• Perform administrative tasks including reports, communication, and documentation per HIPAA
