Professionals in Contract Change Management often encounter complexities such as aligning multiple stakeholders with conflicting priorities, navigating ambiguous contract clauses, and managing tight timelines when changes are requested. Effective negotiation and clear documentation are crucial to resolving disputes and minimizing any impact on project delivery. Collaboration is frequent with legal, procurement, project management, and operations teams to ensure all contractual changes are compliant and feasible. By proactively addressing these challenges, you can help reduce risk, improve project outcomes, and build strong working relationships across your organization.

Job description

Job description
We are looking for an experienced Change Management Consultant to support a key Quality Management System (QMS) transformation project. In this part-time, project-based role , you will support the transition from a long-standing, custom-built QMS to a standardized global quality platform. Working closely with an internal Quality Coordinator, you will help drive the human and process side of the transformation, focusing on stakeholder alignment, training, document handover and conversion, and successful change adoption. Join an international and dynamic environment where you can contribute to a meaningful system transformation and collaborate with key stakeholders throughout the change journey.
  • Location: Salt Lake City, UT (US)
  • Work Mode: On-site
  • Lenght of contract: 6 months
  • Commitment: It's a part-time job: the person will be working only 6 to 7 days per month
  • Type of contract: C2C or freelancer
  • Salary rate: 70-75 USD per hour
  • Availability: Must be available during Mountain Time (MST) working hours

Key Responsibilities
  • Own change management activities to support a smooth transition from a local, custom-built QMS to a standardized global quality system
  • Partner closely with the internal quality coordinator, who will guide onboarding and provide stakeholder/process context
  • Support stakeholder communication and alignment as business users move from a decade-old, tailored application to a standardized global tool (LiveLink)
  • Design and deliver training materials and sessions to help business teams adopt new processes, including a new eSign workflow and LiveLink navigation
  • Convert existing project documentation and learning materials into the organization's IS change management framework, templates, and structure
  • Act as a change advocate and point of contact for business teams navigating the transition, translating between technical/IS terminology and business needs
  • Support documentation handover from the outgoing change manager and ensure continuity of project knowledge
  • Help manage the human/process side of a large document migration effort (~1 TB of records moving into the new system), coordinating closely with IT on timing and rollout

Requirements
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in leading or supporting organizational change management initiatives (change management or related project management background)
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly absorb existing project context, documentation, and stakeholder relationships, and operate effectively within a structured framework
  • Strong communication, training facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable working independently onsite while collaborating closely with a client-side coordinator
  • Experience with quality management system (QMS) documentation, processes, or migrations
Nice to Have
  • Familiarity with electronic document management platforms (e.g., LiveLink) or eSign/electronic signature workflows
  • Experience supporting IT-led system migrations from a change/business-adoption perspective
  • Background in life sciences, manufacturing, or regulated industries

Why choose us
  • An international community bringing together more than 110 different nationalities
  • An environment where trust is central: 70% of our leaders started their careers at the entry level
  • A strong training system with our internal Academy and more than 250 modules available
  • A dynamic work environment that frequently comes together for internal events (afterworks, team buildings, etc.)

Amaris Consulting is an independent technology consulting firm providing guidance and solutions to businesses. With more than 1000 clients across the globe, we have been rolling out solutions in major projects for over a decade - this is made possible by an international team of 7,600 people spread across 5 continents and more than 60 countries. Our solutions focus on four different Business Lines: Information System & Digital, Telecom, Life Sciences and Engineering. We're focused on building and nurturing a top talent community where all our team members can achieve their full potential. Amaris is your steppingstone to cross rivers of change, meet challenges and achieve all your projects with success.
At Amaris, we strive to provide our candidates with the best possible recruitment experience. We like to get to know our candidates, challenge them, and be able to give them proper feedback as quickly as possible. Here's what our recruitment process looks like:
Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!
Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!
Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.
As you know, every person is different and so is every role in a company. That is why we have to adapt accordingly, and the process may differ slightly at times. However, please know that we always put ourselves in the candidate's shoes to ensure they have the best possible experience.
We look forward to meeting you!
