Job Description

Turner and Townsend is currently seeking a Recruiter with experience identifying candidates in our market to support our rapidly growing business. This individual will support our team on a contract basis- engagement 6 months. This position will manage recruitment for all levels and all disciplines. 

The Recruiter will be responsible for partnering with management to guide candidates through the full recruitment process including sourcing, screening, interviewing, using the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other recruitment tools such as internet services, job board posting, networking, career/job fairs and professional organizations. 

This position plays an integral role in building the company's talent pipeline requiring the Recruiter to have great interpersonal skills, and the ability to build and maintain long-term candidate relationships. We are looking for someone who can strategically partner with management to ensure their needs are met, while focusing on delivering high caliber candidates. 
 

Responsibilities for this role include: 

  • Manage the full life cycle recruitment process for your applicable requisitions.
  • Ability to prioritize urgent requisitions and effectively manage your workload.
  • Partner with hiring managers by providing consistent and clear communication.
  • Schedule intake meetings and reoccurring recruitment meetings with your hiring teams accordingly.
  • Collaborate with the recruitment coordinator to post job requisitions and interview scheduling.
  • Review applicable candidate CVs / resumes in a timely manner.
  • Source and build strong candidate pipelines.
  • Screen candidates for your requisitions and assess relevant knowledge, technical capabilities, and soft skills. 
  • Act as the point of contact for your candidates and guide them through the recruitment process.
  • Clearly convey our brand to candidates through all facets of communication.
  • Diligently enter screening notes and feedback into the applicant tracking system.
  • Extend and issue offers with little to no guidance. 
  • Coordinate with your recruitment coordinator to trigger references for new hires.
  • Consistently seek feedback from your line manager and hiring managers for continued improvement.
  • Support diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  • Assist the wider recruitment team with administrative functions as requested, such as interview scheduling, special projects, documentation, job postings, initiating references, routing offers, and tracking requisitions. 
  • SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable. 
Qualifications
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of recruitment experience as a sourcer or recruiter. 
  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred but experience qualifies in lieu of a degree. 
  • Demonstrates high emotional intelligence to interact effectively and cultivate relationships. 
  • Proficient Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Prior experience utilizing an applicant tracking system.
  • Proven success placing good candidates consistently.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proactive, constantly willing to learn and improve processes to increase efficiency. 
  • Ability to exercise judgement and discretion with sensitive and confidential information.
