Registered Nurse – Case Management (Travel Position)

Location: Conroe, TX
Job Type: Travel Contract
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 5x8 Days
Pay: $1,724/week (plus $2,000 completion bonus per contract, up to $6,000 after three contracts)

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Case Management Unit in Conroe, TX, for a 13-week travel assignment. The RN will provide high-quality, patient-centered rehabilitative care to individuals recovering from illness, injury, or surgery. The ideal candidate is adaptable, team-oriented, and dedicated to promoting each patient’s optimal level of independence and functional recovery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients admitted for inpatient rehabilitation.

  • Conduct thorough assessments and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.

  • Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.

  • Support mobility and functional independence through safe use of assistive equipment (e.g., Sara Steady, Hoyer Lift, Sit-to-Stand, Hover Mat, Wheelchairs).

  • Monitor and document patient progress toward therapy and rehabilitation goals.

  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care team members.

  • Adhere to all safety, infection control, and hospital policies.

  • Float to acute care units as needed.

Qualifications
  • License: Current and valid RN license in Texas (or compact state eligibility).

  • Experience: Inpatient Rehabilitation experience preferred.

  • Certifications:

    • Basic Life Support (BLS) – required

  • Skills & Traits:

    • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
