POSITION TITLE: Case Aide 
FLSA EXEMPITION STATUS: Full Time/Non-Exempt
POSITION LOCATION: Tejano Center for Community Concerns 
WORK SCHEDULE:  238 Days
SALARY RANGE: $16.50/hr 
Department: Child Placing Agency
Reports To: Case Manager/ Program Supervisor  

Position Summary:
The Case Aid provides administrative and direct support to case managers and program staff in delivering social services to clients. This role assists in documentation, client contact, resource coordination, and other tasks to ensure effective case management and quality service delivery.
 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist case managers with client intakes, assessments, and follow-up activities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and case files.
  • Schedule appointments, home visits, and meetings with clients or service providers.
  • Provide transportation for clients to appointments, court hearings, or community resources when necessary.
  • Prepare and distribute correspondence, reports, and other documentation as directed.
  • Support case managers in monitoring client progress and reporting any concerns.
  • Perform data entry, filing, and other administrative duties to ensure compliance with agency policies.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and supervision as required.
  • Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical and professional standards.
 

Qualifications:
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, human services, or related field preferred.
  • One (1) year of experience in a social service, administrative, or client support role preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and maintain confidentiality.
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation required.
  • Clear criminal background check.
  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, data entry systems).
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish preferred).
 

Work Environment:
  • Combination of office, field, and community-based work.
  • May require occasional evening or weekend hours depending on client's needs.
