Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and Strategic Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimize our supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will oversee procurement, logistics, inventory management, and demand planning to ensure seamless production and delivery processes. This role requires a strong understanding of ERP systems, process improvement methodologies, and supply chain analytics to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across the organization.

Duties

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with company goals, utilizing tools such as our ERP systems.
  • Manage procurement processes including purchasing, supplier relationships, and contract negotiations to ensure cost-effective sourcing.
  • Oversee inventory control and management to optimize stock levels using inventory management and demand planning techniques.
  • Coordinate logistics and distribution activities to ensure timely delivery of products while minimizing costs.
  • Technology Integration: Advanced technologies such as AI, IoT, and blockchain play a crucial role in enhancing supply chain efficiency. These technologies enable real-time tracking, predictive analytics, and automation, which can significantly improve decision-making and operational performance.
  • Utilize data analytics platforms like Tableau, Power BI, and supply chain analytics tools to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for process improvement.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives employing Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance efficiency.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on supply chain disruptions or inefficiencies and develop corrective action plans.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams on production planning and demand forecasting to align supply with customer needs.
  • Drive the adoption of best practices in supply chain management including lean manufacturing principles and ERP system optimization.
  • Provide leadership in implementing ERP systems upgrades or new technology integrations related to supply chain functions.

Experience

  • Proven experience in supply chain management within manufacturing or logistics environments.
  • Strong proficiency with NetSuite, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, and other analytics tools.
  • Demonstrated expertise in process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of MRP systems, inventory management software, procurement processes, demand planning, and production scheduling.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment with a focus on operational excellence.
  • Familiarity with supply chain analytics for data-driven decision-making.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics or a related field; advanced certifications such as CSCP or CPIM are preferred.
