The Jacquemus ready-to-wear and accessories collections for men and women reference the French way of life and universal gestures of beauty, encompassing influences from fine art photography to decorative arts, cinema, painting, and sculpture.
Throughout the years, Jacquemus has staged runway productions in unique and unexpected locations, including a Parisian swimming pool, the Musée Picasso, a lavender field in Provence, a wheat field outside Paris, a salt marsh in the Camargue, and a beach in Hawaii. ROLE OVERVIEW
The Assistant Store Director acts as the second-in-command of the boutique, ensuring the day-to-day leadership of the store and taking full operational responsibility in the absence of the Store Director. This role requires a strong business leader capable of driving commercial performance, developing high-performing teams, and maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence and client experience.
This position is designed for a leader who can confidently manage the boutique with a high level of autonomy, allowing the Store Director to focus on strategic business development and external projects while ensuring seamless store operations.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Business and Sales Performance
  • Develop, train and continuously motivate associates towards achieving and exceeding personal and category sales objectives while applying retail excellence.
  • Demonstrate leadership by playing an active role on the selling floor, coaching and team.
  • Manage and lead team efforts in clienteling focused on new client acquisition and retention
  • Analyze and monitor store KPI's on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to implement action plans to achieve target KPI's
  • Perform daily reporting and analysis & identify opportunities to improve performance.
  • Ensure the highest level of customer service
  • Analyze performance by category and partner with the Merchandising team to validate action plan in order to drive a positive and sustainable growth
  • Responsible for P&L of the store
  • Own the day-to-day performance of the boutique and proactively identify business opportunities
  • Take ownership of sales results and implement commercial action plans
  • Make operational decisions independently to ensure business continuity
  • Partner with the Store Director to define and execute the boutique strategy
  • Monitor profitability and optimize store resources

Team Leadership
  • Lead, coach, and motivate team to perform at their highest potential
  • Coach the sales team on how to deliver a unique and memorable shopping experience, observing the sales floor and providing feedback accordingly
  • Manage performance review and development plans for all direct reports.
  • Ensure all staff receives monthly, quarterly and annual feedback
  • Ensure behavior reflects the Jacquemus brand and people values, showing pride, enthusiasm, commitment and initiative
  • Approve and monitor store schedules
  • Ensure the integrity of payroll and the payroll process

Visual Merchandising
  • Ensure store visual merchandising standards are met and maintained.
  • Review sales frequently and take action on visual merchandising to maximize sales

Store Operations
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures;
  • Partner with Retail Operations to ensure inventory accuracy and shrink rates within company standards by regularly following up with operations and executing initiatives as needed
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the boutique while maintaining brand standards
  • Anticipate operational challenges and implement appropriate solutions
  • Coordinate cross-functional projects and support new business initiatives

CRM
  • Responsible for driving the in-store shift from walk-in customer outreach to meaningful client relationship building by supporting the development of a robust client development strategy
  • Competitor Market Awareness

PROFIL
  • At least 5 years work experience in luxury retail environment with leadership experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and Store operation applications
