Job description

Job Summary:
Genesis10 is currently seeking an Ansible Engineer for a contract position with a Major Financial Institution. This role involves owning and managing Ansible platforms and automation capabilities across the organization, focusing on delivering scalable and reliable automation solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure automation using Ansible
• Manage and support Ansible platforms including AWX and/or Ansible Tower
• Build and optimize automation workflows to improve system efficiency and reliability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement automation strategies
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation and configuration management
• Continuously improve automation processes and best practices
Qualifications:
Required:
• Strong hands-on expertise with Ansible
• Experience with at least one of the following: Ansible Automation Platform, AWX, Ansible Tower
• Proven experience in infrastructure automation
Preferred:
• Windows and/or Linux system administration
• Scripting or programming experience in Python and/or PowerShell
• Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
• Strong punctuality and reliability
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Collaborative, team-oriented mindset
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Adaptable and flexible to changing team needs
