Overview

BlueWater Federal is looking for a Theater Engineer to support the SEWS program at Peterson AFB.  As a Theater Engineer, you will support the analysis of user needs and develop the design and associated hardware and software recommendations to support those needs.

Responsibilities
  • Support foreign partner system and network installation, maintenance, and sustainment.
  • Respond to system outages to ensure issues are resolved.
  • Collaborate with SEWS contractor and government personnel to plan routine and emergency trips.
  • Provide rotating 24/7 on-call Tier 2 system support for remote users, to identify and resolve hardware, software, and communication issues, document solutions, and develop recommendations to reduce the frequency of repairs.
  • Support Emergency On-Site Sustainment (EOSS) travel to customer locations as required.
  • Respond to system component failures or change requests and plan system change or restoral implementation.
  • Plan, develop and conduct user training for existing staff as well as new CCMD and FMS users.
  • Travel up to 35% in a year to Foreign Partner locations.
  • Perform on-site sustainment including but not limited to system operational check out, inventory, system updates, equipment firmware updates and documentation updates.
Qualifications
  • Must have an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Must have a Security+ certification
  • 3+ years of supporting Cisco networking equipment or CCNA is required.
  • Experience with network routing protocols (i.e., Static routes, OSPF)
  • Knowledge of GRE and IPSEC tunnels. Knowledge of Network Encryption Devices (i.e., KG-250, KG-250x, IPS-250x, KG-175).
  • Familiarization with Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express (VoIP).
  • Familiarization with Risk Management Frame Work (RMF) standards.
  • Knowledge of Server/Client Systems and current Microsoft Operating Systems (Server & Workstation).
  • Active US Passport or ability to obtain an Active US Passport.
  • 3+ years of systems administration experience is preferred.
  • Partner and Allied nation exercise experience preferred.
