Compensation for this role is $22-$24 hourly. The role may also be eligible for bonus or commission pay. Actual compensation may vary due to factors such as experience and skill set.

As a Contract Specialist at RXO, you will oversee the Contract Carrier onboarding process, Contract Carrier compliance which includes monitoring Motor Carrier Authority (FMCSA) and Insurance, and handle Contract terminations. You will work closely with field managers to support them with all Contract Carrier related matters. This role is critical in positioning the Company for long-term success.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Pre-screen potential contract carriers for contract eligibility based on contract agreements, FMCSA/DOT standards and company policies
  • Manage incoming applicants through the pre-contract background, MVR and drug test process
    Guide online contracting process using proprietary system
  • Assist Operations Managers with the onboarding of Contract Carrier's
  • Review contract terminations with management to ensure compliance with contract agreement
  • Advise and support Operations Managers on all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA/DOT) regulations and compliance issues as it pertains to Contract Carriers
  • Advise and support Operations Managers with Contract Carrier Insurance compliance

At a minimum, you'll need:

  • 1-year related industry experience

It'd be great if you also have:

  • Associate degree in Business Administration
  • Basic knowledge of Windows applications and Microsoft Office
  • 2+ years logistics or transportation experience
  • Experience in contract management in logistics and transportation
