Continuous Improvement Manager
Location: Catoosa, OK
Pay: $108k+ annually | Schedule: Day Shift | Type: Direct Hire


Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate a vision and strategy for implementing a comprehensive Lean manufacturing system.
  • Set expectations to foster a continuous improvement culture.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement to quantitatively and qualitatively improve costs, quality, and service to achieve business results.
  • Identify and facilitate process improvement projects, training, and workshops to drive cultural change.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to address and troubleshoot:
    • Manufacturing and assembly issues
    • Material flow
    • Project plans
    • Production capacity
    • Facility design
    • Process documentation
  • Perform advanced data collection and analysis for process mapping and develop budgets/cost analyses to determine project feasibility.
  • Develop systematic training programs and implement Continuous Improvement methodologies, including:
    • Six Sigma
    • 5S
    • Lean Manufacturing
    • Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE)
  • Track downtime results, improve data integrity, and communicate findings with management to develop improvement plans.
  • Provide strategic leadership and tactical planning for technical training initiatives.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify and prioritize process improvement opportunities that support cost-saving programs and future growth.
  • Review internal processes and procedures using data-driven tools to:
    • Detect operating issues
    • Assess return-on-investment (ROI) for ongoing projects
  • Improve the company's operating output by identifying and eliminating defects/errors in products.
  • Improve quality standards in operating activities.
  • Utilize project management skills to identify, prioritize, and manage process improvement projects that enhance performance and productivity.
  • Continuously monitor and study processes to implement effective process improvements.
  • Ensure work quality aligns with the company's Quality Plan.
  • Build and motivate teams to participate in projects aimed at improving processes, eliminating waste, and reducing defects.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of general management experience in a manufacturing environment.

Requirements
