Industrial Engineer - Automation & Continuous Improvement

This role is based in Middlesex County, NJ and offers the opportunity to lead impactful automation and continuous improvement initiatives at scale.

What You"ll Do
* Lead design, scoping, RFPs, and implementation of automation solutions
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean / Six Sigma methodologies
* Facilitate Kaizen events and guide cross-functional teams to improve KPIs (cost, efficiency, quality)
* Conduct process and value stream mapping; analyze trends and performance data
* Identify opportunities for cost reduction, defect elimination, and efficiency gains
* Develop standard work, training materials, and change management strategies
* Perform financial and ROI analysis on operational improvements
* Build cost models to support new business opportunities
* Manage medium to large-scale projects from concept through execution
* Collaborate across teams to align on strategy, timelines, and deliverables
Requirements
* 7+ years of experience, including 4+ years in Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement
* Strong analytical skills with experience working with large datasets and performance metrics
* Proven experience improving and managing business processes
* Ability to work independently in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
* Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
* Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving organizational change
* Strong project management and prioritization abilities
* Bachelor"s or Master"s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
