Requirement:

Role: UI Developer

Job Location: Tempe, AZ 

Duration: 12+ Months Contract with possibility of extension

Must Have:

UI Development *

REST APIs 

AngularJS 

Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills *

Principal Duties & Responsibilities :

Participate as a technical expert in design, development, testing, and debugging new system modules or enhancements to existing application 

Analyze problems and provides recommendations for application improvements 

Help design and develop solutions to solve problems considering software/hardware capacity and limitations, operating time and desired results 

Work with infrastructure and peers to determine implementation details for enhancements and applications 

Partner with business to come up with application/solution designs 

Work with a team to create project estimates based on business requirements 

Expected to provide a work breakdown of projects and enhancements 

Expected to participate in complete project lifecycle up to and including project implementation and work well within a team environment 

Provide technical guidance as needed in the requirements, planning, modeling, development, deployment and support of the system 

Establish and maintain working relationships with internal business customers, internal IT support groups and vendors to achieve project goals


Qualifications

Qualifications :

Undergraduate degree in CS/CE/CIS/MIS or Engineering/Technology or related field or equivalent experience/training 

o 7+ years of development experience 

Excellent knowledge client side web technologies, including HTML, CSS and JavaScript 

Knowledge of RESTful principles and experience using REST APIs 

Experience building applications with AngularJS framework 

Knowledge of responsive web application design principles. Experience with Bootstrap framework is a plus. 

Experience with a variety of technologies including: UNIX, Windows, SQL, Java, IntelliJ/NetBeans/Eclipse, Tomcat 

Ability to effectively meet deadlines and prioritize projects in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment 

Must be well organized, thrive in a sense-of-urgency environment, leverage best practices, and most importantly, innovate through any problem with a can-do attitude 

Proficient in MS Office applications 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

Airline business systems knowledge - a plus
