What does a Contents Technician with Paul Davis do?
  • Serve others within your community in their time of need
  • Make a difference for others that have had a disaster strike their property
  • Work hard and take pride in completing projects (i.e. mitigating flood and fire damage)
  • Be empathetic and show a sense of urgency while communicating through modern technology
Responsibilities:
  • High level performance of contents cleaning and restoration services, including the use of Esporta machines for soft goods and ultrasonic cleaning systems for hard goods, according to Paul Davis and industry specifications under the supervision of the Contents Manager.
  • Pack, label, transport, store, and unpack customer personal property with care and accuracy, ensuring all items are handled respectfully and documented properly.
  • Focus and dedication to providing excellent customer service, maintaining professionalism and empathy when interacting with clients who have experienced property loss.
  • Maintain a clean, properly stocked, and organized contents cleaning area, warehouse, and company vehicle.
  • Be accessible by phone and participate, as necessary, in the on-call schedule for emergency contents services.
  • Assist in inventory management, including photographing, cataloging, and tracking customer items using company software.
  • Perform deodorization and specialized cleaning techniques to remove smoke, soot, and odor from various types of personal property.
  • Assist in warehousing and facility-related tasks when necessary, including general cleaning, organizing supplies, and maintaining equipment.
  • Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during all job functions.
  • You will assist other team members as you see opportunities arise and be a leader for the team when needed.
