What is contents restoration?

Contents restoration is the process of cleaning, repairing, and restoring personal belongings and property contents that have been damaged by disasters such as fire, water, smoke, or mold. Specialists in this field use specialized equipment and techniques to salvage items like furniture, electronics, documents, and clothing. The goal is to return these items to their pre-loss condition whenever possible, minimizing the need for replacement and helping clients recover after a disaster.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Contents Restoration Technician, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Contents Restoration Technician, you need knowledge of cleaning and restoration processes, attention to detail, and often a high school diploma or equivalent.
