Brandt est actuellement à la recherche d'un rédacteur de service pour sa succursale de Laval Construction & Foresterie. Le rédacteur est responsable d’aider le directeur du service à maintenir à jour les rapports et les dossiers pour assurer le bon fonctionnement du service après-vente. 

Fonctions et responsabilités

  • Répondre aux demandes des clients internes et externes concernant le service après-vente
  • Ouvre les bons de travail selon les directives du directeur du service / contremaître d'atelier et garde le contrôle jusqu'à ce qu'ils soient fermés et facturés
  • Maintenir la bibliothèque de services avec des informations à jour (ex. classement des bulletins, manuels, multimédia, etc.) sous la supervision directe du directeur du service
  • Maintenir tous les dossiers du département du service bien classés
  • Mettre à jour les profils des clients à l'aide de l’information sur l'équipement, les heures ou d'autres informations qui se trouvent sur les bons de travail des clients
  • S’assurer d’avoir le nécessaire au niveau des outils et accessoires de travail et préparer les commandes de remplacement
  • Peut être appelé à préparer des rapports sur l'efficacité des techniciens de service
  • Peut être appelé à traiter les réclamations de garantie et / ou des réclamations d'amélioration de produit, y compris le calcul des frais, la soumission et le suivi
  • D’autre tâches peuvent être assignées

Qualifications/exigences

Brandt is currently seeking a Service Writer for our Laval Construction & Forestry location. This position is responsible for assisting the Service Manager in maintaining accurate and on-time reports and records relative to the Service Department’s operation.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Fields internal and external customer inquiries to the Service Department
  • Opens work orders as directed by the Service Manager/Shop Foreman and maintains control until they are closed and invoiced
  • Maintains the service library with current information (for example, files bulletins, manuals, multi-media, etc.) under the direct supervision of the Service Manager
  • Maintains Service Department filing and records
  • Updates customer profiles using equipment, hours, or other information from the customer work orders
  • Maintains accessories and supplies and prepares replacement orders
  • May prepare Service Technician efficiency reports
  • May process warranty and/or product improvement claims including the computation of charges, submission and follow-up

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of office procedures
  • General understanding of mechanical/technical terms is preferred
  • Basic knowledge of accounting practices

Required Experience

  • Experience with and ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience
