Job Tittle : Training Content Developer
Location: Birmingham, Alabama (Onsite)
Role Overview
The Training Content Developer supports the development and maintenance of training content for instructor-led (ILT) and eLearning programs. This role focuses on updating training materials, assisting with storyboards and multimedia content, testing eLearning courses, and maintaining documentation. You will work under the guidance of senior instructional designers to ensure content quality, consistency, and alignment with learning objectives and templates.
Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with L&D consultants, stakeholders, and SMEs to gather requirements and define training objectives.
  • Develop and update training materials, including presentations, guides, job aids, and assessments.
  • Convert source content into polished, standardized training deliverables.
  • Apply instructional design principles and adult learning best practices.
  • Assist with storyboarding, voice-over recording, and basic multimedia development.
  • Conduct QA testing of eLearning courses in the LMS and provide feedback.
  • Maintain course documentation and version control in SharePoint.
  • Ensure all content meets branding, formatting, and accessibility standards.
  • Track progress, provide project updates, and support multiple concurrent projects.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience: 1-5 years of instructional design or curriculum development experience.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word, along with experience with LMS platforms for testing and QA, voice-over recording, Adobe Acrobat, and SharePoint.
