Influential Sports is seeking an exceptional Director, Strategy & Analytics to serve as the architect in leading insight-led thinking, talent intelligence, and strategic rigor across select agency accounts. Internally, the Director will collaborate with teams to build out brand-level integrated athlete and sports strategies, and successfully manage day-to-day relationships. Externally, the Director will be a trusted strategic partner to our clients and agencies in driving efficiencies and maximizing value from the sports ecosystem.

You'll partner closely with teams to connect cultural insights with business objectives, crafting strategies that are rooted in data and built for impact.

Responsibilities

Serve as a senior point of contact for our Agency clients across creator marketing programs, ensuring clarity, alignment, and excellence in execution.

Ensure creator and athlete strategies ladder to audience insights, content trends, and performance metrics driving brand goals.

Translate reporting outputs into actionable insights and strategic recommendations, connecting talent performance to business KPIs.

Maintain an understanding of the sports creator and cultural & sports landscapes, with the ability to bring a proactive POV to the client and internal teams on where sports is heading.

Bridge the gap between strategy, creative, and sports creator, ensuring insights fuel every state of a campaign and are driving everything we do for our brands.

Support key initiatives, pitches, and innovation planning that showcase the power of data-driven influence.

Guide a team in turning data into clear narratives that move clients from insight to action.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience across sports, influencer, media, digital, or brand strategy - ideally within agency or consultancy environments.

An understanding of athletes and sports talent and an understanding of the category's pace, nuance, and consumer mindset is key to success.

Strong ability to translate data into compelling business stories and visual outputs

Proven success translating marketing objectives into sports programs that deliver measurable business results.

Hands-on experience with platforms as it relates to:

Influencer/Creator Marketing (Captiv8, Traackr, CreatorIQ, Tagger, etc.)

Social Media Management/Listening (Pulsar, Quid, Infegy, Brandwatch, etc.)

Insights Tools and Resources (GWI, Demographics Pro, Mintel, eMarketer, etc.) 

A confident communicator who can distill complex insights and build trust.

Highly proactive and solutions-oriented, with a bias toward action and the ability to bring clarity in moments of ambiguity.

Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple fast-moving workstreams.

 Compensation Range: USD $121,315.00 - USD $194,220.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
