What We Look For In a USMLE Step 1 Tutor

  • Curriculum Awareness & Adaptive Instruction: Familiar with USMLE Step 1 content outline and common challenges such as pharmacology breadth, pathology integration, and managing the enormous scope of testable content. Adapts instruction using First Aid, Pathoma, and UWorld question banks, spaced repetition systems, and targeted content review to support medical students preparing for Step 1 with effective and efficient study strategies.
  • Effective Teaching Methods: Ability to identify concepts students commonly struggle with, explain material using multiple approaches, and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles.
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
