Job description

As a Project Manager (Project Executive/Construction), you will be responsible for overall project leadership of the most complex, large, politically high risk design and construction projects.ย 
Location of position: General Services Administration (GSA)- Public Building Services (PBS) - Office of Program and Project Management (PX)

We are currently filling two vacancies, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.

Qualifications:

If you have volunteered your service through a National Service program (e.g., Peace Corps, Americorps), we encourage you to apply and include this experience on your resume.
The GS-14 salary range starts at $125,776 per year.ย ย 
To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13ย level or higher in the Federal service.

Specialized experience is defined as experience:

  • Directing, managing, and providing expert oversight for a diverse portfolio of complex federal projects, including multi-million dollar design and construction activities across business lines.

  • Supervising or leading project teams through formal or informal authority examples include planning and assigning work, evaluating performance, mentoring staff, resolving conflicts to achieve organizational objectives.

  • Serving as a technical expert and stakeholder liaison by providing authoritative guidance on project management practices, communicating complex technical information to senior leadership and customer agencies to facilitate successful project delivery.
