We have been leading with purpose for over 130 years, building iconic brands that win the hearts and minds of consumers - such as Raid, Glade, Ziploc and more, in virtually every country around the world. Together, we are creating a better future - for the planet, for future generations and for every SCJ team member. Join our winning team of Wave Makers and Go Getters and help us write the next chapter in the SCJ story.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Associate Manager, Sales Account Management - Target eCommerce, you will play a key role on a high-impact, fast-growing team focused on accelerating our digital business with one of our most strategic retail partners. This role is ideal for a commercially minded professional with experience in eCommerce marketing, consumer packaged goods sales, or working directly with Target, who is passionate about winning in the digital shelf.

You will act as a trusted advisor to both internal teams and external partners, bringing best-in-class thinking across Target's eCommerce ecosystem. In this role, you'll blend strategic thinking with hands-on execution-developing forward-looking recommendations across content, search, and retail media, while leading cross-functional efforts to bring those strategies to life.

Success in this position requires strong collaboration across internal partners-including Sales, Shopper Marketing, Customer Marketing, Supply Chain, Brand, and Centers of Excellence-as well as close engagement with Target and agency partners. You'll help shape how we show up digitally at Target, driving growth through data-driven insights, innovative thinking, and flawless execution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Influence by identifying specific opportunities in the digital landscape; build compelling, best in class insights-based selling stories to drive SCJ's digital business at Target

  • Effectively present and communicate actionable digital strategies and solutions that support growth objectives for company, customer, and category

  • Oversee Target digital project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation, ensuring all milestones are met efficiently and effectively

  • Create, maintain, and continually monitor eCommerce processes & metrics internally and externally, including content, ratings and reviews, inventory, and transactability

  • Support the development of long-term strategic planning, annual operating plans, and major product launches

  • Collaborate with sales leaders to lend digital expertise to monthly meetings, and product pitches

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of work experience in Digital/eCommerce, or Retail Media Services or advanced degree with 3+ years of work experience in Digital/eCommerce, or Retail Media Services

  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

  • Knowledge of Target Systems, Review Syndication and Shopper marketing

  • Growth mindset; bias for action; thrive on high performing teams

  • Thorough understanding of retail eCommerce and its major arteries (assortment, pricing, placement, promotion, merchandising, retail media, content, search, and digital penetration)

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Strong issue resolution skills with the ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven work environment, where multitasking while maintaining quality and attention to detail are the norm

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBI

  • Strong presentation, analytical and quantitative skills

  • Flexible and collaborative, but with complete ownership of responsibilities

  • Ability to leverage informal influence to navigate and build partnerships across business and technical teams

  • Proactive and committed to delivering results in a fast paced, demanding work environment by fostering a sense of urgency, energy, ownership, and a curiosity to search for opportunities

  • Previous experience executing strategy and direction to customers and employees

  • Demonstrate effective (internal and external) influence skills

  • Ability to motivate cross functional groups to common goals

  • Ability to adapt to changing work and customer demands
