Position Summary:

We are seeking a tech-savvy, motivated, organized, and employee-focused HR Coordinator to provide on-site Human Resources support for our growing Nebraska operations.ย  This position reports directly to the Senior HR Director in Nashville, Tennessee, with a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Plant Manager.

The HR Coordinator will serve as a key on-site resource for employees and leaders while partnering closely with the Corporate Human Resources team. This role will support day-to-day HR administration and initiatives that foster a high-performing, employee-focused culture, with particular emphasis on recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, and developing a best-in-class workforce.

The position will also manage and support the company's local online and social media presence in Nebraska to strengthen employer branding, promote career opportunities, and help attract and retain talent.

In partnership with the Senior HR Director, Plant Manager, and Corporate HR team, the HR Coordinator will help ensure the consistent application of company policies and HR practices while supporting compliance with applicable federal and state employment laws.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the on-site HR resource for the Nebraska facility, providing responsive and professional support to employees and plant leadership.
  • Partner closely with the Senior HR Director in Nashville on HR priorities, programs, employee matters, and implementation of company-wide HR initiatives.
  • Maintain a collaborative dotted-line relationship with the Plant Manager, supporting the day-to-day people needs and priorities of the facility.
  • Support recruiting activities in collaboration with the Corporate HR Recruiter, including interview coordination, candidate communication, and pre-employment activities.
  • Coordinate and support new-hire onboarding and orientation to provide a positive and consistent employee experience.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, personnel documentation, and other HR-related information in accordance with company requirements.
  • Utilizing the company's HR technologies, track performance reviews (Lattice), maintaining training records (LMS), effectively utilize the HRIS system (Worksight), and identify opportunities to transition from paper/manual processes to ย digital HR processes.
  • Assist with employee training and development programs, including scheduling, coordination, documentation, and tracking.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, communications, and company or facility events.
  • Provide assistance to NE leaders and TN HR team to support payroll functions, assist with timesheet corrections and ensure accurate payroll data.
  • Respond to employee questions and provide day-to-day HR administrative support, serving as an approachable resource and helping foster a positive, respectful work environment.
  • Conduct exit interviews and proactively gather ongoing employee feedback to identify trends, understand the employee experience, and recommend opportunities to strengthen engagement, retention, and workplace culture.
  • Support the Nebraska facility's online and social media presence for recruiting and employer-branding purposes, including developing and coordinating content that highlights employment opportunities, workplace culture, employees, and community involvement.
  • Collaborate with Corporate HR on the consistent implementation and administration of HR policies, procedures, programs, and best practices.
  • Assist with HR compliance activities and help ensure adherence to applicable federal and state employment laws and company policies.
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support related to Human Resources and facility needs as appropriate.
  • Perform other HR-related and administrative duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of Human Resources experience, preferably in an HR generalist, coordinator, or similar role.
  • Experience supporting employees and managers in an on-site work environment; manufacturing or industrial experience is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of HR practices, employee relations principles, and applicable employment regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with employees, plant leadership, and a geographically dispersed Corporate HR team.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality when handling employee and company information.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and X, particularly for recruiting, employer branding, or community engagement.
  • Experience with content creation tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Ability to work independently on-site while maintaining regular communication and alignment with the Senior HR Director and Corporate HR team.

Physical Demands / Work Environment:

  • Must be able to sit/stand for 8 hours.
  • Walking, bending, light lifting up to 25 lbs.
