In this role, you will partner with cross-functional leaders to assess performance and plan for the future. The Monetization team organization provides business is focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early-stage ideas into future-growth initiatives. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to lead the development and implementation of AI Safety Solutions for our cutting-edge Generative AI features. Responsibilities: - Product Sense and Strategy: Demonstrate a strong product sense, understanding user needs and market trends related to generative AI. Be able to contribute to the development of product strategy and roadmap, balancing innovation with Trust & Safety considerations. - Deep Understanding of Generative AI: Possess a strong understanding of the capabilities and limitations of various generative AI models (e.g., text, image, audio, video). - Expertise in Trust & Safety Principles: Demonstrate a solid grasp of core Trust & Safety principles, including content moderation, platform integrity, user safety, and privacy. - Bias Detection and Mitigation: Have a strong understanding of bias in AI systems, particularly within generative models. Be proficient in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating various types of bias (e.g., demographic, representation, algorithmic). - Content Moderation Expertise: Be knowledgeable about content moderation strategies and best practices, specifically as they relate to AI-generated content. This includes understanding the challenges of identifying and addressing harmful or misleading content created by generative models. - Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Be able to conduct thorough risk assessments of generative AI products and features, identifying potential harms and developing effective mitigation strategies. - Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address complex Trust & Safety challenges related to generative AI. Be able to analyze data, identify trends, and develop data-driven solutions. - Metrics and Measurement: Define and track key metrics to measure the effectiveness of Trust & Safety efforts related to generative AI. Use data to identify areas for improvement and inform product decisions. - Prioritization and Execution: Be able to prioritize competing demands and effectively execute on Trust & Safety initiatives within a fast-paced product development environment. This includes defining clear goals, tracking progress, and managing stakeholders. - Staying Up-to-Date: Keep abreast of the latest advancements in generative AI research, as well as emerging Trust & Safety challenges and best practices. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. - 5+ years of experience in product management taking technical consumer products from conception to launch. - Strong technical background with experience working across AI/ML and engineering teams - High proficiency in English and Mandarin listening, speaking, reading and writing. Both English and Mandarin skill sets are required to support clients in China and to communicate with stakeholders. [For Pay Transparency]Compensation Description (Annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $185600 - $374000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
